Ivana Barac Becomes New Commercial Director of Accolade Croatia

Ivana Barac has been appointed the new Commercial Director of Accolade Croatia, based out of the company’s newly opened branch in Zagreb.

Accolade describes Barac as “an experienced professional with an extensive career in the financial sector, particularly in financial analysis and investment strategies. Before joining Accolade Croatia, Barac held senior positions for five years at the largest regional producer of frozen food and ice cream, where she was responsible for managing capital investments and played a key role in optimizing the supply chain.”

As Commercial Director, Barać will oversee all business processes in Croatia, including leasing and business strategy development, managing development activities, day-to-day operations, compliance with regulations, and public relations and communications. She will also manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions, oversee investor relations, and encourage further business growth.

“Croatia is at a crucial moment in the development of modern industrial infrastructure,” stated Barac, “which holds tremendous potential here. Despite the currently limited number of modern industrial sites, Croatia’s membership in the Eurozone and Schengen Area has opened the door to new investments and enhanced competitiveness. Industrial parks are not just business spaces – they are catalysts for economic growth, job creation, and attracting foreign capital. Accolade recognizes this opportunity as strategically important, and we are dedicated to playing a key role in the development of industrial infrastructure that will contribute to the stable and sustainable economic growth of Croatia in the long term.”

Accolade currently operates in eight countries across Europe, where it invests in infrastructure designed for global brands, primarily in the e-commerce, manufacturing, and logistics sectors. It is the owner of a network of 62 industrial parks with BREEAM certification in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Croatia, and Slovakia, valued at EUR 3 billion. The group currently has properties totaling 3.4 million square meters, which are leased to nearly 200 tenants.

Accolade is developing its first project in Croatia, Park Zagreb North in the Donja Bistra region of the country, north of Zagreb.
