Sportland Acquires Land for Expanded Logistics Center in Latvia

Sportland has acquired 4.2 hectares of land in Marupe, Latvia.

According to the company’s website, “offering the world’s best brands, Sportland is an international, world’s best and most inspiring retail environment that sells and markets sports and leisure lifestyles. Sportland’s mission is to make young people’s lives more interesting, better and more emotional through the products and services we offer. The goal of Sportland is to notice, emphasize and develop the local sports culture. The company Sportland Eesti AS was founded in 2000 in Tallinn.”

The land acquired by Sportland in Marupe is close to the Riga airport and borders two of the company’s existing properties, allowing it to expand its logistics center.

The Ellex law firm advised Sportland on the deal.
