Smurfit Westrock Extends Lease and Expands Space in Krakow Business Park

Smurfit Westrock has decided to extend its lease agreement and significantly expand its office space in Quattro Business Park in Krakow.

The company now occupies 1,713 square meters on the first and second floor of building D at the Quattro Business Park. The internal Workplaces team of Globalworth, which owns and manages the office complex, was responsible for the arrangement of the new space, and prepared a comprehensive Design&Build project.

“Location, technical standard, available facilities and certificates are key elements that are of great importance to tenants looking for the perfect office space,” said Julie Archambault, Asset Management & Leasing Director at Globalworth Poland. “The extension of the lease agreement and the expansion of the office by Smurfit Westrock is the best proof for the market that the Quattro Business Park office complex is a desirable office location in the heart of Malopolska.”

According to a Globalworth press release, “the new space was designed with the needs and work culture of the Smurfit Westrock team in mind. As part of the modernization, managerial rooms, meeting rooms, a large conference room, an Open Space space adapted to the organization of events, a kitchen with a chill-out zone and an additional toilet for people with disabilities were created. The chill-out zone was arranged as a place conducive to relaxation and team integration. It was equipped with comfortable furniture, a swing and a place to play table football. Both zones are very popular among both employees and guests visiting the company’s office. The kitchen with an open ceiling and subdued wallpapers, decorated with a neon sign with the main slogan, creates a cozy space for conversations over coffee and less formal meetings.”

“The project was completed in just 2.5 months, which was a big challenge considering the many changes,” says said Zbigniew Garbowicz, Project Manager in the Workplaces department at Globalworth Poland. “Thanks to the commitment of both parties and regular consultations with the tenant’s team, it was possible to create a modern and functional space that meets the needs of both individual and team work. The implementation of the project for Smurfit Westrock is an example of excellent cooperation with the tenant. Together we achieved a satisfactory effect, combining aesthetics, functionality and comfort at the highest level. The adaptation carried out in accordance with the tenant’s wishes is another proof that investing in modern work spaces is an important, proven step towards increasing employee satisfaction and efficiency. ”

Quattro Business Park is a modern office complex consisting of five buildings offering a total area of 66 thousand square meters in the north-eastern part of Krakow, The park’s users have at their disposal an underground and above-ground car park for 1,300 cars, as well as commercial and service infrastructure located on the premises of the complex and in its immediate vicinity.
