Living Completes First Phase of Its Greenest Residential Park

Living has announced that the first phase of its greenest residential development, Le Jardin on Rozsnyay utca, in Budapest’s District 13, has received its final use permit, and that the handover of 165 apartments with A+ energy rating has started.

According to Living, the company “prioritized environmentally friendly and energy-efficient solutions in this project, which is one of the first residential developments in Hungary to obtain a BREEAM Very Good certification in the design phase. Sales are underway in the residential park, with only a few apartments still available.”

“The completion of the first phase of Le Jardin is an important milestone in the history of Living, as this is the greenest residential development in our portfolio,” said Tibor Tatar, Head of WING’s residential and office development businesses in Hungary. “In this development, using environmentally friendly solutions was extremely important for us: the residential park has an A+ energy rating, heating, cooling and hot water are provided by a heat pump, and a modern ceiling heating system has been installed. The sustainability of the residential park is further improved by the BREEAM Very Good certification that the first phase obtained in the design phase, becoming one of the first residential projects in the Hungarian market with sustainability certification. Naturally, just as in all our residential parks, our aim at Le Jardin was to offer more than simple sustainability in everyday life: in this development, unique community and smart home solutions provide an enhanced experience.”

Le Jardin offers both studio apartments and large five-room penthouse units with panoramic views. Nineteen homes in the project have direct garden access. The underground parking garage of the residential development has 188 parking spaces, including 58 with electric chargers. The complex also boasts 2337 square meters of lawn and 45 saplings.
