Julius Meinl Living Acquires Building on Hegedu Utca in Budapest

Julius Meinl Living has acquired a protected building on Hegedu Utca in Budapest’s 6th District from Longbridge Group.

Schoenherr advised Julius Meinl Living and Szecsenyi & Partners advised Longbridge Group on the deal (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on November 13, 2025).

According to Schoenherr, the asset is slated for a full refurbishment and conversion into a luxury hotel to be branded The Julius Budapest, with opening currently planned for early 2029.

Julius Meinl Living is an owner, developer, and operator of luxury hotels in the CEE region.

Longbridge Group is a developer active in hospitality projects.
