BIG Poland Acquires Retail Properties in Wloclawek and Myszkow

BIG Poland has acquired Park Kujawia in the Polish community of Wloclawek, and Atut in Myszkow, giving the brand, which already had retail parks in Lubna (near Warsaw), Lubin, Andrychow, Gorzow Wielkopolski, and Ostroda, a total of seven in Poland.

In addition, BIG Poland has three additional development projects currently underway, which the company claims is “reinforcing its ambition to become the leading player in Poland’s retail park sector.”

The new projects in Wloclawek and Myszkow increased BIG Poland’s portfolio by 34,500 square meters of gross lettable area. The newly acquired properties will undergo rebranding and soon operate as BIG Wloclawek and BIG Myszkow. According to BIG Poland, the total value of both transactions exceeds EUR 56 million.

“As BIG Poland, we are consistently implementing an ambitious growth plan in Poland, undertaking numerous projects to open new retail investments under the BIG brand nationwide,” said BIG Poland CEO Eran Levy. “The acquisitions of these two new retail properties in Wloclawek and Myszkow mark a significant step in executing our long-term investor strategy. Like in other BIG retail parks, we aim to create favorite shopping and meeting destinations for consumers in Wloclawek and Myszkow. We prioritize building lasting relationships with tenants and local communities. I am confident that the new projects … will become vibrant spaces eagerly visited by families,”

The Park Kujawia shopping center in Wloclawek, which opened in 2020, provides 21,000 square meters of gross lettable area. Its tenants include chains such as Castorama, Lidl, Agata Meble, and RTV Euro AGD, and stores like Dealz, Action, Pepco, Rossmann, Smyk, Kik, Tedi, and Honolulu Shopping. There’s also a McDonald’s restaurant, and 930 free parking spaces.

Atut Myszkow is a retail park in the Silesian Voivodeship, at the intersection of provincial roads 793 and 791. The facility offers 13,500 square meters of gross lettable areas and an adjacent area with 550 free parking spaces. The entire project covers 6.4 hectares. The tenant mix includes Lidl supermarket and brands such as House, Cropp, Sinsay, CCC, Deichmann, Martes Sport, Apart, Smyk, Pepco, Rossmann, Empik, and electronics supermarket Media Expert. Next year, the center will expand with the addition of a Bricomarche building.
