APS Holding’s Acquisition of IMO Property Investments Bucharest is Final

The acquisition by distressed-assets investment company and debt-recovery platform APS Holding of IMO Property Investments Bucharest and its portfolio from Eurobank SA, first announced last fall, has now satisfied all regulatory requirements and been finalized.

APS Group, founded in 2004, currently manages over 100 non-performing loan portfolios with a total nominal value of over EUR 11 billion. The group has been present in Romania since 2007 and is active in nine other countries.

IMO Property Investments Bucharest was established in 2007 and had net assets of almost RON 134 million as of December 31, 2023.

“We are excited to complete this important acquisition in Romania,” noted APS Holding Chief Information Officer Viktor Toth. “This strategic investment aligns perfectly with our growth strategy and demonstrates our strong confidence in the Romanian real estate sector.”

“The acquired portfolio includes a diversified range of properties across the country, offering considerable potential for capitalization and strategic development,” commented Radu Dobre, Country Manager of APS Romania.
