Panattoni Delivers BTO Plant for Compal in Poland

Panattoni has completed constructing a Built-To-Own manufacturing center for Compal in Czeladz, Poland, which Compal will use to produce electronic components for the automotive industry.

The project was announced in 2024 (as reported by CEE Real Estate Matters on August 20, 2024).

Compal Electronics Inc., headquartered in Taiwan, is a Fortune Global 500 company. Its portfolio includes laptops, displays, tablets, servers, smart devices, and increasingly, advanced components for the automotive industry. The company serves top global technology and automotive brands. The Czeladz facility marks its strategic entry into localized automotive production for the European market.

The plant is the company’s first automotive electronics factory in Europe and will begin trial production by the end of 2025. The 7,650-square-meter facility will supply components for the rapidly growing market of vehicles.

“We are proud to support Compal in establishing its first automotive electronics facility in Europe,” commented Panattoni Partner Marek Dobrzycki. “This project reinforces Silesia as a top destination for high-tech investment and demonstrates Panattoni’s capability to deliver tailored infrastructure that supports global manufacturers in localizing production and strengthening supply chain resilience.”

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Panattoni Europe and Dentons advised Compal on the project (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on August 18, 2024).
