Shell has renewed its lease at the DOT Park office complex in Krakow.
The newly signed agreement covers over 22,800 square meters of office space across buildings A, B, and C, making the transaction not only the largest office lease in Poland so far in 2025, but also — according to DOT-Park-owner Golden Star Estate — the single largest office deal in the history of the Krakow market.
Shell is a global group of energy companies operating in more than 70 countries. In Poland, Shell is active not only through its network of over 450 fuel stations but also through investments in renewable energy, e-mobility, and modern business service centers.
Shell has been present at DOT Park since 2015. The Krakow complex, which houses Shell Business Operations, is one of the largest international business centers in the region, employing over 5,000 people and supporting Shell’s global operations in finance, HR, IT, logistics, and procurement. The 22,800 square meters of modern office space at DOT Park will soon undergo refurbishment, as Shell plans to upgrade and tailor the space to meet the evolving needs of its employees. New EV charging stations as well as dedicated parking for electric scooters and bicycles will also be introduced on the campus.
Shell was advised during the renegotiation process by legal counsel Piotr Jezolkowski of the Jezolkowski i Wspolnicy law firm and Maciej Fielek of Jones Lang LaSalle. Golden Star Estate was represented by attorney Marcin Rogala of the SRC Law Firm.
“Extending our cooperation with Shell is not only a great commercial success, but also a strong confirmation that DOT Park meets the highest expectations of global tenants,” said Mariusz Bres, Vice President at Golden Star Estate. “We’ve consistently invested in the development and quality of our properties, focusing on modern solutions and workplace comfort. We’re delighted that Shell, one of our key partners, has decided to continue its presence at DOT Park on such a scale. This is the best recommendation we could ask for, and a powerful motivator to continue growing.”
Magdalena Ruta, Head of Asset Management at Golden Star Estate, commented: “Renegotiating 22,800 square meters with a major tenant like Shell, particularly in such a competitive market as Krakow, is a double win for us. It wouldn’t have been possible without a truly collaborative relationship with the tenant and the engagement of all the individuals who brought expertise, experience, and professionalism to this process from start to finish. I’d like to thank the entire Shell team, especially Ewa van der Nat-Gregorkiewicz and Joanna Gaworecka-Michnal, with whom it was a great pleasure to work.”
DOT Park is a modern office campus located on ul. Czerwone Maki in the southwestern part of Krakow. It consists of five Class A buildings with a total leasable area of over 44,000 square meters, including office space with cyclist infrastructure and retail units.
