JYSK Opens Store in BIG Ostroda Retail Park in Poland

The JYSK interior design chain has opened a 1300-square-meter store in the BIG Ostroda retail park in the Warmian-Masurian region of Poland, which opened at the end of August.

JYSK is an international retail chain originating from Denmark that claims to sell “everything for the home.” According to a BIG press release, “It offers products designed in the Scandinavian spirit, which reflect contemporary and simple design.” The grand opening of the new JYSK store in BIG Ostroda took place on September 18, with the first hundred customers being offered free extras for purchases for a minimum of PLN 100.

BIG Poland is part of the international BIG Shopping Centers group, founded in 1994 in Israel by Yehuda Neftali, focusing on developing, servicing, and investing in retail parks, shopping centers, logistics parks, office and residential projects, and renewable energy. The company operates in Israel, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Poland.

BIG Ostroda offers ​​25 thousand square meters of gross leasing area, making it the largest retail park in the Warmian-Masurian region of Poland, located in the country’s northwest. The facility includes a Biedronka supermarket, a free-standing Castorama DIY store with an area of ​​nine thousand square meters, and international brands like JYSK, New Yorker, Smyk, CCC, Sinsay, Cropp, House, Media Expert, Martes Sport, 4F, Komfort, Diverse, Rossmann, and Douglas, among many others. BIG Ostroda also has over 700 free parking spaces.
