VGP Names David Plzak as Country Manager for the Czech Republic

On September 16, 2021, VGP announced that it had appointed David Plzak as Country Manager for the Czech Republic.

According to VGP, Plzak has more than 20 years of experience in the construction and real estate segment. He studied Economics and Construction Management at the Brno University of Technology and started his career at Centroprojekt in Zlin as a construction supervisor for linear infrastructure and industrial halls. This was followed by various positions within Grontmij, PSG, and SEGRO.

In his new role as a Country Manager for VGP, Plzak will be responsible to expand the company’s business activities on the Czech market.

“I am very pleased that we have recruited David Plzak to head the Czech office. He will be a significant asset not only to the local market, but also to the entire VGP Group,” said CEO and co-founder of VGP Jan Van Geet. “Personally, I appreciate his many years of work experience and managerial skills, which are clearly evident from his professional achievements to date. We consider the Czech market to be crucial for development of the VGP Group, and I believe that David Plzak is the right person for us.”

The Czech Republic is VGP’s oldest branch in Europe as the company was founded there in 1998. Presently VGP operates industrial and logistics parks in 11 European countries and has more than 300 employees.
