Scallier Sells Commercial Property in Nowa Wies to Centerscape

Poznan-based developer and retail projects manager Scallier has announced it finalized the sale of a commercial property in Nowa Wies near Pruszkow, within the Warsaw metropolitan area, to Centerscape.

The commercial property was developed in partnership with PKB Inwest Budowa. It is situated on a 0.8-hectare plot, with the complex consisting of two retail buildings – one housing a Biedronka supermarket, and the other accommodating tenants such as PEPCO, Maxi Zoo, and Totalizator Sportowy. According to Scallier, as part of its strategic framework partnership with PKB Inwest, Scallier was responsible for the land acquisition, full commercialization of the project, comprehensive investment advisory services, and the sale of the property in Nowa Wies.

The investment was completed and opened for use at the end of 2023.

“This marks yet another successful transaction completed with our strategic partner, PKB Inwest Budowa – a result of our long-standing, close-knit partnership, which now also includes preparations for the sale of a retail park in Pyrzyce,” commented Scallier Managing Partner Bartosz Nowak. “The pace of retail real estate development in Poland remains strong. The investment landscape is currently dominated by retail parks and local shopping centers, supported by the continued expansion of popular retail chains and discount brands. Right now, we’re seeing a race to secure sites in county towns and larger urban centers. Locally operating retail parks and convenience centers are capturing a growing share of the market, now accounting for over one-quarter of Poland’s modern retail space.”
