Prodea Investments Enhances Its Portfolio with Green Office Complex in Athens

On January 17, 2022, Prodea Investments announced that it had acquired five adjacent plots in Maroussi, northern Athens, and plans to use them towards the development of a green office complex.

According to the company, the total area comprises approximately 10,500 square meters and will host two functionally independent buildings. The total investment is estimated at EUR 35 million and will be funded by the proceeds of the green bond that Prodea issued in July 2021.

Prodea also informed that the office complex is expected to receive a LEED Gold certification as a minimum. Its location will offer easy access both via the main arteries and public transport, complementing the company’s already existing investments in the Northern Athens business district.
