Panattoni Welcomes New Tenant in Upper Silesia

On July 7, 2021, Panattoni announced that it had leased 40,500 square meters to midocean in its upcoming Panattoni Park Ruda Slaska III in Upper Silesia, Poland.

Panattoni Park Ruda Slaska III is currently under construction and will offer a total of 70,000 square meters of industrial space. According to Panattoni the project is already 95% leased.

The developer also highlighted that the space leased by midocean will be used for the company’s main logistics and printing centre for its European operations and will increase its storage and production capacity. midocean is to use numerous sustainable solutions such as heat recovery systems and solar panels, and is to move into its new centre in the middle of 2022.

“The decision of midocean, which is a company with international operations, to stay in Ruda Slaska seems natural to us,” commented Panattoni Senior Leasing Manager Justyna Kononowcz. “The location is one of the key centres of Upper Silesia and it has over recent years, become an extremely important distribution hub for Central and Eastern Europe since it has excellent connections to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. Additionally, with over 4.6 million people living in the region resulting in easy access to skilled labour, the location provides superb conditions for companies to enlarge their production, warehouse or office space.”
