Panattoni Secures Financing from PKO Bank Polski to Implement Second Phase of Panattoni Park Zgierz II

Panattoni has secured EUR 24 million in financing from PKO Bank Polski to implement the second phase of Panattoni Park Zgierz II. The facility will house a central warehouse for Polish cosmetics manufacturer Bielenda and a distribution center for an unnamed Polish drugstore chain.

“We are pleased that PKO Bank Polski has once again placed its trust in us by financially supporting the development of our key investment in central Poland – Panattoni Park Zgierz II,” said Emilia Taczewska-Trojanska, Head of Debt Finance Poland at Panattoni. “This facility is of strategic importance not only to our business partners but also to the entire region, generating new jobs and contributing to the development of modern logistics.”

The second phase of Panattoni Park Zgierz II involves an expansion of 70,000 square meters. Of this, the Polish drugstore company will lease 30,500 square meters of warehouse space and 1,300 square meters of office space (increasing the company’s total occupied area to 50,000 square meters), and Bielenda will lease 10,500 square meters for use as a new central warehouse from which it can distribute its products nationwide and internationally.

Upon completion, Panattoni Park Zgierz will offer a total of 120,000 square meters of space. The investment will be BREEAM-certified at the Excellent level.

“The financing obtained from PKO Bank Polski marks another step in Panattoni’s dynamic expansion and confirms the company’s strong position in the industrial real estate market,” added Emilia Taczewska-Trojanska. “We continue to grow our investment portfolio in Poland and across Europe, delivering innovative, sustainable, and strategically located facilities for major market players.”
