Panattoni has secured EUR 30.5 million in financing from PKO Bank Polski for the development of Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V warehouse and logistics complex in the Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.
According to the company, the first stage involves the construction of a hall with an area of over 33,000 square meters, which is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025. In the future, the industrial park will be expanded with a second building of nearly 19,000 square meters.
The first tenant of the investment is the Hebe drugstore chain, owned by the Jeronimo Martins Group, which has leased 22,000 square meters. A BTS distribution centre will be built for the company’s needs, equipped with, among other things, an advanced pick-tower mezzanine, internal transport solutions, and comfortable social facilities.
“The Silesian Voivodeship is one of the most dynamically developing logistics regions in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe,” commented Panattoni Head of Debt Finance Poland Emilia Taczewska-Trojanska. “It is also our largest market – we have already delivered nearly 3 million square meters of modern space here, the most in the country. Sosnowiec occupies a special place, where we have delivered over half a million square metres, confirming the unique potential of this location. Thanks to financing from PKO Bank Polski, we can continue our development with Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V – a project combining the needs of large tenants, such as Hebe, with the highest ESG standards.”
