Oponeo Renews Lease with Hillwood Polska for Expanded Space in Zelgoszcz Logistics Park

Automotive product distributor Oponeo has extended its lease with Hillwood Polska for space in a logistics park in Zelgoszcz, Poland, and has agreed to lease an additional 33,000 square meters of space in a new part of the complex, which will be handed over in the third quarter of 2025.

The Oponeo warehouse center has been operating in 72,000 square meters of space — including 1,300 square meters of office space — in a hall built by Hillwood Polska in Zelgoszcz, in the Strykow commune near Lodz, since May 2022, It is currently the company’s main warehouse, with capacity to store 1.8 million tires and about 200,000 car rims.

Construction on the expansion of the hall is already underway, and is being done in such a way as not to interfere with Oponeo’s current operational activities.

“The logistics center in Zelgoszcz meets our expectations perfectly,” said Marcin Demko, Logistics Manager of the Oponeo.pl SA Capital Group. “The expansion of the warehouse is a strategic step in the development of Oponeo, which will increase our operational capabilities, which will affect the expansion of the offer and the quality of service we can offer to our customers.”

“The decision to extend the current lease agreement and expand it by another 33,000 square meters is an expression of confidence in our facilities and confirmation of the strategic importance of this location for Oponeo’s operational activities,” noted Jan Kalinski, Head of Business Development at Hillwood Polska. “We are pleased that we can support the company’s further development and offer solutions that meet the high requirements of dynamically developing companies in the e-commerce and logistics industry.”

The Oponeo.pl Group is an online distributor of tires and rims, with beginnings dating back to 1999. Since September 2007, the company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
