Globalworth Turns Buildings Pink to Fight Breast Cancer

On October 1, 2021, Globalworth announced that it had illuminated in pink two of its office buildings in Bucharest to emphasize the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The initiative is driven by the Gobalworth Foundation in partnership with the Renasterea Foundations and is one of the benchmark projects for Globalworth’s logistics and light industry sub-brand.

According to Globalworth, approximately 1,200 women will have free access to Pap tests for detecting gynecological diseases between 12 September and 10 December. Among them are also members of the business community working in the Globalworth premises.

The company also emphasized that breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death for women in Romania. Annually, 9,629 women are diagnosed with breast cancer nationwide, and the number of deaths amounts to 3,209.
