Fortress REIT Announces Three New Senior Team Members in Poland

Fortress REIT has announced the appointment of three senior team members who recently joined the company in Poland: Bartosz Klimek as Leasing & Asset Director, Michal Orzechowski as Technical Director, and Magdalena Wielgosz-Zujewicz as Senior Project Manager.

“These appointments confirm the growth of logistics in the region and we are looking forward to seeing this team continue its positive trajectory in the coming months,” a press release of the company said.

Klimek has over 12 years of experience in the industry – mainly in Property Management and Leasing – and has managed companies and various departments in new business development and operational roles. Bartosz has worked for companies like DTZ Management, Sodexo, and Atalian as well as investment funds including the Baltic Property Trust and TDR Capital. He graduated from the University of Lodz and postgraduate studies in Real Estate at Kozminski University.

Orzechowski has gained experience during the implementation of various construction projects in Poland, Great Britain, and Ireland. As a Chartered Engineer, he has led various construction stages of facilities such as power plants, refineries, stadiums, industrial, and commercial buildings, and managed the investment process of new facilities for Decathlon and McDonald’s in Poland. While working for Panattoni, he managed the investment process of the largest and most complex logistic-warehouse and industrial facilities in Poland which included Amazon and FedEx-TNT. At the same time, he worked with a number of investment funds from a technical point of view and worked in due diligence processes during ownership changes. At Waimea Holding S.A., he founded the Investment Department from scratch and introduced project management procedures based on his vast experience. Additionally, he was responsible for acquiring new investment sites. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Construction at the Lublin University of Technology.

Wielgosz-Zujewicz has nearly 10 years of experience in the construction industry. Since the start of her career, she has had the opportunity to work in different departments of investment organizations. She started as a QS / Inspector, where she was involved in the construction of a bridge road junction in Warsaw. In 2017, she worked as a site manager for general contractors. At Aldesa Construcciones she supervised the construction of the Centre of New Technologies for the University of Warsaw and she participated in the construction of residential and service units. In her role at Waimea Holding, she managed all stages of the investment process of the logistic warehouse parks. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Construction at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
