ESTDEV to Build Orphanage in Ukraine

The Estonian Centre for International Development has registered an international technical assistance project in Ukraine, aimed at constructing a modern family-type orphanage in the Zhytomyr region of the country.

According to the Ilyashev & Partners law firm, which advised the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) on the matter, the project, which is fully financed by ESTDEV and is valued at EUR 700,000, includes the design and construction of a residential facility for up to eight children deprived of parental care, along with a bomb shelter, utilities infrastructure, furnishings, equipment, and landscaping. Completion is expected by December 2025.
