DHL Extends Lease at CTPark Budapest East

DHL Supply Chain has extended its existing lease agreement with CTP and taken possession of a newly customized head office at CTPark Budapest East, where it will continue to carry out warehousing, storage, and third-party-logistics operations.

DHL’s premises at CTPark Budapest East, already a key operational center due to its geographic location, have now undergone significant upgrades in line with the company’s evolving needs. These include the creation of new office areas and a full-scale technical renovation—complete with updated mechanical systems, rooftop solar panels, and a newly installed heat pump system.

“A reliable partner and stable infrastructure are essential for DHL. CTP’s long-term approach and flexible project execution were crucial factors in our decision,” said Zoltan Kemeny, Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain Hungary Kft. “Our collaboration is focused not only on meeting today’s challenges, but also on identifying future opportunities. Our goal is sustainable growth in line with market demands—delivering value for our company, our partners, and our customers. We’re confident that our continued partnership with CTP will enable us to create innovative solutions that enhance our competitiveness and contribute to the logistics sector’s development.”

According to a CTP press release, “DHL’s upgraded facility stands out for its sustainability credentials. Office areas are heated and cooled via heat pumps, and the rooftop solar panel system reduces energy dependency. The premises feature energy-efficient LED lighting throughout, with operations managed by an intelligent building management system. The building has earned a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification, guaranteeing a high standard of sustainable operation.”

“CTP’s mission is to provide our clients not just with space, but with a high-quality, sustainable, and future-proof operating environment that actively supports their growth,” explained Peter Tar, Business Development Regional Lead of CTP Hungary. “Our work with DHL demonstrates how even existing facilities, when thoughtfully upgraded, can exceed the highest expectations.”
