BIG Poland Acquires Multishop Suwalki Retail Park

BIG Poland has expanded its portfolio by acquiring the 13,000-square-meter Multishop Suwalki retail park from an unidentified buyer.

BIG Poland now owns nine fully commercialized retail parks in Poland, totaling 175,300 square meters of gross leasable area.

Multishop Suwalki is located in the northern part of the city, adjacent to one of Suwalki’s largest residential neighborhoods, a DIY OBI store, the Suwalki bypass, and the Via Baltica route.

“The acquisition of the Multishop Suwałki retail park is another investment that reinforces BIG Poland’s commitment to developing the Polish retail sector,” claimed Eran Levy, CEO BIG Poland. “It also represents a key part of our strategy of acquiring high-quality assets. Multishop Suwalki stands out due to its excellent location – it also attracts many customers from Lithuania, who visit Suwalki in large numbers, especially on weekends. In addition to the diverse retail offer provided by well-known and popular brands such as HalfPrice, Biedronka, JYSK, Media Expert and RTV Euro AGD, the park provides complementary services such as a 24/7 car wash, ATM, parcel lockers, food outlets, and convenient free parking. As part of the transaction, we also acquired a plot designated for future development.”
