Three companies from the PZU Group have agreed to renew their leases for over 6500 square meters of office space at the Golden Star Group’s Konstruktorska Business Center in Warsaw for another ten years.
The PZU Group is one of the largest financial institutions in Central & Eastern Europe. At its core is Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen S.A. (PZU), a public company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The brand’s roots date back to 1803, when the first insurance company in Poland was established. For over 200 years, insurance operations have been at the heart of the PZU Group’s identity, focused on providing insurance coverage across key areas of private, public, and economic life.
The Konstruktorska Business Center has housed the headquarters of three companies from the PZU Group — Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen S.A., Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen na Zycie S.A., and PZU Centrum Operacji S.A — since 2015. Under a new, long-term lease agreement, they will continue their operations in the building for another decade.
Golden Star Group was represented by Marcin Rogala from the SRC Law Firm throughout the negotiations and finalization of the new lease agreement.
“We are proud to continue our cooperation with our longstanding partner and extend the lease,” said Mariusz Bres, Senior Vice President at Golden Star Estate. “This means that our partner and their employees appreciate the working conditions offered by the modern and inspiring space at Konstruktorska Business Center. On the other hand, this is also perfect proof of the quality of our services as the owner and asset manager of this building. We are happy that the PZU Group, one of the most recognizable brands in Poland, has trusted us again and decided to tie the future of its companies with Konstruktorska Business Center.”
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to continue working with the companies of the PZU Group, which has always gone beyond the standard landlord-tenant relationship,” said Ewa Dragunajtys, Associate Director at Golden Star Estate. “Over the years of PZU’s presence at Konstruktorska Business Center, we have carried out a number of inspiring educational and health initiatives for the building’s community, which have always been very well received. I am confident that we will have more initiatives and years of excellent cooperation ahead of us. I would like to thank the entire PZU team involved in this lease extension transaction, especially Marek Gędziorowski, who coordinated the process.”
Konstruktorska Business Center is a modern Class A office building with a total leasable area of 49,500 square meters. The seven-story building features a typical floor area of 7000 square meters — one of the largest typical floor areas in Central & Eastern Europe. The building also claims BREEAM certification at the “Very Good” level. Among the tenants of the building, in addition to the PZU Group companies, are Lionbridge, Carrier, Procter & Gamble, Emerson Process Management, and MoneyGram.
