EIB Helps Republic of Lithuania Establish EUR 100 Million Greener Housing Initiative

The European Investment Bank has partnered with the Republic of Lithuania to establish a EUR 100 million greener housing initiative.

According to the TGS Baltic law firm, which advised EIB on the deal, the initiative is designed to improve energy efficiency in housing. Under an agreement with the Lithuanian Ministries of Finance and Environment, the EIB will administer EU funding to upgrade multi-apartment buildings, lowering energy costs and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
