Panattoni Obtains EUR 75 Million Loan from Citibank for Panattoni Park Sulechow III

Panattoni has been granted a EUR 75 million loan by Citibank (London Branch), with the funds designed to finance Panattoni Park Sulechow III in Western Poland.

“Due to the confidence of our partner – Citibank – we were able to finance one of the largest logistics centers in the Lubusz region,” said Emilia Taczewska-Trojanska, Head of Debt Finance Poland at Panattoni. “Here, an international company now has an excellent base where it can expand its European activities, in particular its e-commerce operations. We are pleased that this project will result in the strengthening of our client’s market position.”

Originally, Panattoni Park Sulechow III was designed as a 90,000-square-meter building constructed to the requirements of an unidentified e-commerce operator, but that client decided to extend the building by an additional 46,000 square meters. Panattoni, in developing the center to its client’s specific needs and specifications, raised one section of the building to accommodate warehouse pick-towers with multiple levels to maximize the space available for logistics operations.

The building has been certified by BREEAM with a rating of Excellent and is fitted out with a range of environmentally friendly solutions such as BMS systems, intelligent lighting, and a roof suitable for the installation of solar panelling. Social implications were also considered in the design to ensure comfortable working conditions with access to natural light in the offices and a relaxation area outside the building.
