DNB Bank ASA Latvia Branch has doubled its office space to 6,000 square meters in the Teodors building in the Jauna Teika district of Riga, making the bank the largest tenant in the district.
Jauna Teika is a planned “modern and dynamic urban environment in Riga,” located next to Riga’s main artery – Brivibas Street. The business district boasts four modern office buildings – Valters, Ausma, Teodors, and Henrihs.
“At DNB, we see the office as a place where we build our company culture,” said Svetlana Kocerova, DNB Latvia Branch Manager. “It’s where we foster a sense of belonging, support one another, and share knowledge and experience. For every team, it’s essential to cultivate culture, trust, and collaboration — values that are like fresh produce: they need to be nurtured and maintained continuously. That’s why being together and participating in office community life is so important. Over the years, we’ve built a strong, professional team that grows alongside our ambitions. We care deeply about having a work environment that supports both productivity and employee well-being and lifestyle. Jauna Teika as a city concept — with its gym, cafés, shops, various services, and vibrant event life — offers something that’s hard to find around other A-class office buildings. Our team, with a relatively young average age, greatly appreciates this environment. Just as important is the open and constructive cooperation with the building owners — all of this contributes to our belief that this is the right place for our future growth.”
“The expansion of the DNB Bank ASA Latvia Branch is significant proof that Jauna Teika is able to offer more than just quality space – it is becoming the core of an infrastructure, community and innovation ecosystem,” explained Viktors Savins, Chairman of the Board of EfTEN Capital Latvia. “Our approach is based on a long-term vision – providing an environment where companies can operate efficiently, attract talent, and develop international service centers. This growth is an indicator that a new business standard is emerging – based on sustainability, technology and a high-quality working environment.”
DNB Bank ASA Latvia Branch opened its first office in Jauna Teika in 2018 as one of the first tenants of the Teodors building. The bank initially leased approximately 3,000 square maters, but now expands to twice that much, covering the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of the Teodors building.
