Panattoni Acquires Land Plot for Panattoni Park Krakow East V

Panattoni has purchased a 9.6-hectare-land plot in Zakrzow, Poland, where it plans to build the 30,000-square-meter class A Panattoni Park Krakow East V.

Construction on the logistics park is scheduled to begin in October, and Panattoni reports that the park’s first tenant – Highway Automotive – has already been found.

Highway Automotive — a vehicle parts distributor for trucks, buses, and heavy machinery, including components for air conditioning, enginesm and cooling systems as well as for controlling exhaust emissions — has already claimed 8,000 square meters of the park, which is located about 19 miles from the Krakow city center.

“Our company is growing rapidly, becoming bigger every year,” commented Highway Automotive COO Pawel Lysien. “To fulfill our plans, we need a centre that is ideally suited to the needs of our expected growth, but also optimized to meet the needs of our logistics operations and the work of our warehouse and office team. Panattoni Park Krakow East V 100% meets our requirements. The centre’s design is based on our needs and its superb location will be yet another extremely important advantage. We are extremely please with our future change in location as well as with our continued work with Panattoni.”

“Above all it is Krakow’s enormous human capital with the country’s second largest labour pool that is behind the city’s business potential as well as the many respected colleges and universities, which educate workers for many different industries,” noted Panattoni Senior Leasing Manager Filip Noworol. “For us as an industrial real estate developer, the main challenge we face to grow in this region is the limited availability of land. I am glad we were able to purchase a plot in such an ideal location where we can build a flexible modern center.”
