Penta Real Estate and PSN Announce Project to Replace Former Transgas Building in Prague

On January 17, 2022, Penta Real Estate announced it will, together with property development company PSN, work on the preparation and implementation of a project that will replace the former Transgas building on Vinohradska street in Prague.

According to Penta Commercial Development Director Pavel Streblov, the initial concept of a solely office development complex will totally change: “We unequivocally intend to preserve the character of the location. Vinohrady is mostly residential area, therefore, together with PSN, we plan to prepare a project, which will be primarily residential, with only a small part of the project dedicated to offices and retail units on the ground floor.”

“This is one of the most interesting and valuable spots in the center of Prague in the immediate vicinity of the National Museum,” added PSN’s Max Skala. ” I am certain that together with Penta Real Estate we will enrich Vinohradská street with a useful, modern, and in terms of architecture a high-quality building.”

Penta informed that a study is currently being finalized in collaboration with the Jakub Cigler Architects studio, which has already worked on the project for its previous owners. The construction works of the new building could begin in 2024.
