Panattoni has secured EUR 26 million in financing from mBank to develop the Panattoni Park Krakow East V logistics complex in the Malopolska warehouse area of the city.
“We have delivered about one-third of the total supply to Krakow’s industrial property market,” said Emilia Taczewska-Trojanska, Head of Debt Finance Poland at Panattoni. “This region is particularly challenging due to the limited availability of land. It also has one of the lowest vacancy rates in Poland, demonstrating significant tenant interest in modern warehouse spaces.
“Securing financing from mBank for Panattoni Park Krakow East, our latest investment in Malopolska,” Taczewska-Trojanska added, “confirms the financial market’s confidence in our projects and the stability of Poland’s logistics real estate sector.”
Panattoni Park Krakow East V is being built on a 10-hectare site in Zakrzow, with construction work starting in October last year. The project includes a building of 39,000 square meters that Panattoni expects to achieve a BREEAM Excellent certification. Flexible modular conditions will enable the facility to accommodate various processes, from typical logistics operations to light manufacturing. One of the first tenants is Highway Automotive, which has already signed a lease to occupy 8,000 square meters. Starting in May, the company will supply global markets from the location with parts for trucks, buses, and construction and agricultural machinery.
