Saller Swipes Styrian Shopping Center

Saller Unternehmensgruppe has acquired the 14,000-square-meter FMZ Kapfenberg retail park in Styria, Austria, from LLB Immo KAG.

Founded almost 40 years ago, Saller Unternehmensgruppe develops, builds, leases, and operates commercial real estate and generates renewable energy via its wind and photovoltaic installations.

The FMZ Kapfenberg retail park is anchored by Billa Plus and BIPA and hosts a pharmacy as well as Libro, Pagro Diskont, Action, and Fressnapf retail outlets.

According to the Schoenherr law firm, which advised Saller Unternehmensgruppe on the deal, this represents Saller’s first investment in Austria, following existing operations in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia. Moreover, Schoenherr reports that
