Czech Investika Real Estate Fund has entered the German market through the acquisition of an 89.9% stake in the owner of the Hoefe am Bruehl shopping center in Leipzig from Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.
Helaba provided acquisition financing.
Hoefe am Bruehl is a downtown Leipzig shopping center with approximately 45,000 square metres of space and more than 130 retail stores.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield will retain a 10.1% stake and is expected to initially remain responsible for center and asset management.
Dentons advised Investika on the deal, Norton Rose Fulbright advised Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, and Clifford Chance advised Helaba (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on March 20, 2026).
