Media Expert and Panattoni have ceremonially started construction of a distribution centre in Lodz, which “will become a critical link in Media Expert’s supply chain, supporting both the company’s network of over 600 retail locations and its rapidly expanding e-commerce platform.”
The cornerstone ceremony was held on November 13, 2025.
According to Panattoni, located in the central part of Poland, near the main transport arteries (A1, A2, S8, and S14), the complex will enable efficient nationwide customer service and further strengthen the company’s omnichannel logistics operations. The logistics hub for Media Expert will comprise two buildings with a total area of 208,000 square meters, developed in a build-to-own (BTO) model for the client. To date, Panattoni has delivered over 300,000 square meters for Media Expert in the Lodz region, and with this new investment, their total footprint will exceed 500,000 square meters.
“Laying the cornerstone for the new distribution center marks the symbolic start of an investment that will reinforce our competitive edge for years to come,” commented Media Expert spokesperson Michal Mystkowski. “Modern logistics drives omnichannel retail success, which is why we continually build infrastructure that seamlessly connects online and offline sales. This project fulfils our operational needs and ambitious growth plans, while setting a new standard for modern logistics in Poland.”
“The construction of the largest warehouse project in Media Expert’s history marks a new chapter in our long-standing partnership,” added Panattoni Partner Marek Dobrzycki. “We appreciate the trust the investor has placed in us by entrusting such a strategic project, which will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of logistics in Poland. Together, we are creating a facility that reflects the needs of modern retail – efficient, sustainable, and ready for the future.”
