Eva Kovacs Becomes New Head of Real Estate at Jalsovszky

Eva Kovacs has joined Hungary’s Jalsovszky law firm to head the firm’s new Real Estate practice.

Before joining Jalsovszky, Kovacs spent almost six years at the helm of the Nagy-Kovacs law firm. She was Special Counsel with Bird & Bird from 2018 to 2019, and practiced with Weil, Gotschal & Manges from 2004 to 2018.

“After 15 years in international practice and six years running my own legal practice, I am excited to take on this new challenge,” Kovacs said. “I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to join a team that is widely recognized in both the Hungarian and international markets and is innovative and dynamic. Our goal is to build on the strengths of the already high-performing real estate group and further unlock the potential in this field.”

“We are seeing signs of a real estate market revival,” said Jalsovszky Managing Partner Pal Jalsovszky. “This is precisely when a new leader can inject fresh momentum and open new opportunities for the practice. I have known Eva for over 15 years, and her extensive experience and business-oriented mindset made it incredibly easy to find common ground and shared goals.”
