Revetas Capital has commenced construction works for B04 – a new Class A logistics building at Sofia Airport Center.
The start of construction was marked by a ceremonial groundbreaking event held on Monday, March 16, featuring the traditional Bulgarian “First Sod” ritual and a Vodosvet blessing, underlining the project’s importance for the continued development of Sofia’s logistics and industrial market.
The B04 building will deliver approximately 5,700 square meters of gross lettable area, comprising around 5,000 square meters of Class A logistics space and 700 square meters of modern office accommodation. According to Revetas, “the B04 logistics building is 65 percent already pre-let, while advanced negotiations are ongoing with local and international logistics, distribution, freight forwarding, and light industrial companies for the remaining space.”
“B04 is more than a single building — it is the first proof of concept for the warehousing and logistics development potential that has always been embedded in Sofia Airport Center,” commented Revetas Capital Partner and CEE Head of Portfolio Management Vlad Dragoescu. “SAC is a landmark property unlike anything else in Sofia: it combines 17,300 square meters of Class A offices and retail premises with 16,300 square meters of prime logistics space, a 9,000 square meter landscaped park and lake, resort-standard amenities, and direct adjacency to Sofia International Airport — all on a 12-hectare site with the infrastructure, connectivity, and zoning to support a full-scale logistics campus. With Bulgaria now in the eurozone, prime logistics vacancy at a record low, and virtually no comparable competing supply in the pipeline, the timing to activate this potential could not be better.”
Completion is scheduled for February 2027.
