Park Lane Developments Acquires Land for Development of Varna Retail Park

Park Lane Developments has announced that it and Brussels-based real-estate investor Mitiska REIM have acquired a plot of land in Varna, on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, to develop their first retail park outside Sofia.

Construction on the planned Estrea Park Varna, which will be located on Asen Raztsvetnikov Street in the “Vladislav Varnenchik” district of Varna, is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026. Lidl will serve as anchor tenant, with a supermarket spanning over 2,300 square meters. The park will also include fashion outlets, home-goods stores, a drugstore, a pet store, an optician, a pharmacy, a restaurant, and a fitness center. In total, the retail park will span 10,000 square meters and offer more than 230 parking spots,

According to Park Lane, “the park will be built with sustainability in mind, and the developers aim to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification for buildings in operation.”

Park Lane Developments and Mitiska REIM have announced a joint plan to open at least ten retail parks in Bulgaria under the Estrea Park brand over the next few years.
