Financing Obtained for Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park

The Concens Investments development company has started the construction of phase two of the Ostrava
Airport Multimodal Park near Ostrava’s Leos Janacek Airport, in Mosnov. Financing for the project was obtained from Trinity Bank.

Construction on the project is expected to conclude in the fall of this year, and, when finished, the park will offer a total of 120,000 square meters of Class A commercial space.

“This year, at Concens Investments, we started further expansion on the Czech real estate market, and the expansion of the successful Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park project was a natural step in view of consolidated land ownership and a valid building permit,” said Concens Investments Executive Director Tomas Novotny. “We build on a so-called speculative basis, i.e. without a pre-agreed tenant, but as part of our regular contact with logistics and production companies, we register their interest in the Mošnov location. They especially appreciate the combination of transport links there – air, rail and road transport. The premises of the second phase of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park will be available at the end of this year.”

The Kocian Solc Balastik Law firm advised Concens Investment on the financing.
