One United Properties Begins Construction on Sustainable Office Campus in Romania

One United Properties, a green investor and developer of residential, mixed-use, and office real estate in Bucharest, Romania, has announced the beginning of construction on One Technology District, a Bucharest project that is expected to host the largest semiconductor R&D center in Southeast Europe.

That semiconductor center will be operated by German giant Infineon Technologies, a Frankfurt Stock-Exchange-listed semiconductor specialist.

One United Properties has obtained a building permit and can begin construction of the turn-key office building.

According to Victor Căpitanu, the co-founder of One United Properties, “One Technology District will be by far the most sustainable office campus in Romania, developed by One United Properties SA as totally independent from the gas network, using solely geothermal and solar energy.”
