Sayenko Kharenko Secures Lifting of Freezing Order over Kyiv’s Gulliver Business Centre

Sayenko Kharenko has successfully represented JSC Oschadbank and has obtained court rulings lifting a criminal asset freezing order over the Gulliver Business Centre and overturning an earlier decision transferring the complex to Ukraine’s Asset Recovery and Management Agency. 

JSC Oschadbank is a Ukrainian state-owned bank.

According to Sayenko Kharenko, the measures had been imposed in criminal proceedings involving the property’s former owners. Located in central Kyiv, Gulliver is a major multifunctional complex comprising two Class A office towers and a retail/entertainment centre. Its tallest tower rises 141 metres over 33 storeys, with the property totaling approximately 157,400 square metres.

The Sayenko Kharenko team included Partner Sergiy Smirnov, Counsel Zlata Symonenko, Senior Associate Bogdan Golovko, and Associate Mykhailo Novytskyi.
