Panattoni has announced that it has begun the final construction stage of its City Logistics Krakow I urban park in Krakow’s Nowa Huta district.
Panattoni reports that 11,300 square meters will be built to expand the park’s final target size to 36,500 square meters. According to Panattoni, “in the final construction stage of City Logistics Krakow I, building A is to be extended. The completion of the work is scheduled for September this year and a tenant, who is to move in in November, has already been found for half of the new space. The 36,500 square-meter park is now almost entirely commercialized with only around 6,000 square meters in the form of Small Business Units (SBUs) still available for lease. Space that can be flexibly arranged is equally suited to operations such as logistics, warehousing and light production.”
City Logistics Krakow I is situated on the eastern side of Krakow, 11 kilometers from the city center. The park includes loading docks, ground level gates, a large maneuvering area, and parking spaces for both trucks and cars. The center is BREEAM certified.
“Our project is a response to the growing need for modern warehousing space in strategic urban locations,” said Panattoni Senior Leasing Manager Filip Noworal. “City Logistics Krakow I is a modern complex that is superbly suited to meet the needs of last mile logistics. The strength of our position in the Krakow market is clearly demonstrated by the launch of the final stage of this project and the high level of its commercialization.”
