Focus Garden – a Polish e-commerce company in the garden furniture and accessories segment – has leased 18,650 square meters of modern warehouse space in Building B of the Hillwood Zgierz II logistics center.
Focus Garden, founded in 2004 in Pila, Poland, offers a range of products for arranging outdoor spaces and unique design.
Hillwood Zgierz II is a class A logistics center that consists of two halls with a total area of almost 77,000 square meters. The center is being built in Dabrowka Wielka, approximately 1.5 kilometers from the A2 motorway junction and 15.5 kilometers from the A1. The facility offers above-standard technical specifications, including increased height (of 12 meters), increased floor load-bearing capacity (of 8 tons/square meter), as well as various pro-ecological solutions. According to Hillwood, “the construction is carried out using recyclable materials, the installation of energy-saving LED lighting, a photovoltaic farm with a capacity of up to 100 kWp and the establishment of flower meadows is planned. The center will be certified in the BREEAM system at the ‘Excellent’ level.”
“The dynamic development of our business and the growing expectations of our customers in terms of delivery speed require us to have a flexible and modern logistics base,” explained Focus Garden Operations Director Tomasz Piatek. “Choosing Hillwood Zgierz II is a step towards increasing our operational efficiency and strengthening our presence in central Poland. We are pleased that we can operate in a facility that combines functionality with high ecological standards.”
“The choice of Hillwood Zgierz II by Focus Garden confirms that modern logistics today means combining a strategic location with real actions for sustainable development,” noted Katarzyna Zbikowska, Business Development Director at Hillwood Polska. “From the very beginning, we designed this center with the operational efficiency of our clients and compliance with ESG requirements in mind.”
