Wing Industrial, the industrial and logistics development business of developer Wing, has delivered the fourth hall of the East Gate PRO Business Park in Fot, Hungary.
The tenant of the new 9,000-square-meter facility, which is rated “Very Good” by BREEAM, is the Hungarian subsidiary of Packeta, a parcel logistics group active in Central and Eastern Europe.
The new hall was tailored to fit Packeta’s needs in a built-to-suit pre-lease arrangement, with construction done by Weinberg ‘93 Epito Kft. and financing provided by UniCredit Bank. The hall features larger-than-usual offices, more extensive handling and parking areas, docking and drive-in gates for cross-docking, and a heat-pump system for heating and cooling.
“For us, it is key to have a warehouse and office base that not only serves our current operations to a high standard, but also supports our growth in the long term,” said Zoltan Radeczky, Acting Managing Director of Packeta Group’s Hungarian subsidiary. “In collaboration with Wing Industrial, we created a logistics centre that is entirely tailored to our needs. This flexibility and professional approach represent great values in the market.”
Once completed, the East Gate PRO Business Park will consist of six facilities with around 60,000 square meters of space available for lease.
“A significant part of Wing Industrial’s portfolio consists of warehouse logistics and manufacturing/assembly hall solutions tailored to fit the specific needs of our tenants,” explained Zsofia Korda, Chief Sales Officer of Wing Ltd. “From the earliest stages of design and construction, we give a special focus to ensuring that our facilities fully meet the requirements of our partners. Built-to-suit arrangements allow us to work closely with our tenants to implement tailored solutions that not only meet their current operational needs, but also facilitate future growth. The Packeta Group’s Hungarian subsidiary project is another excellent example of how we are able to create value in collaboration with our strategic partners in the logistics sector. This development will not only enhance WING Industrial’s portfolio, but also contribute to the further improvement of the industrial and logistics infrastructure of the North Pest region.”
