The Power Park Olsztyn shopping center that was acquired by BIG Poland in March has officially been renamed BIG Olsztyn. To celebrate the completion of the rebranding process, a day full of attractions has been prepared for customers.
The acquisition of the shopping center by BIG Poland was initially reported by CEE Real Estate Matters on March 31, 2025 (here).
According to BIG, “the official opening celebration of BIG Olsztyn Retail Park is scheduled for Saturday, 24 May. From 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, visitors will enjoy a variety of free attractions on-site: inflatable playgrounds for children, cotton candy, popcorn, and plenty of balloons. A DJ will ensure a lively atmosphere and great music throughout the day.”
“The acquisition of the shopping center in Olsztyn was a significant strategic step for us, strengthening BIG Poland’s commitment to developing the retail sector in Poland,” said BIG Poland CEO Eran Levy. “Olsztyn is a dynamic and growing city with great potential. I’m genuinely pleased that we can celebrate the official opening of BIG Olsztyn with residents and guests from the region. We invite everyone to join us for the event and enjoy our prepared attractions. This symbolic moment marks the beginning of a new chapter for this retail center.”
The BIG Olsztyn retail park offers nearly 33,000 square meters of gross leasable area and is positioned next to Galeria Warminska, forming a popular retail destination. The center’s tenant mix includes retailers such as Auchan, Black Red White, Action, Maxi Zoo, OBI, JYSK, Media Markt, and MAX Premium Burgers.
BIG Poland has been actively operating in the Polish market since 2022 and currently holds a portfolio of nine retail parks – in Lubna near Warsaw, Lubin, Andrychow, Gorzow Wielkopolski, Ostroda, Wloclawek, Myszkow, Olsztyn and Suwalki — offering a total leasable area of 175,300 square meters. The company also has three more projects currently in the pipeline in Pila, Olkusz, and Konstantynow.
