CTP has announced its entry into a strategic partnership with Romanian state-owned postal operator Posta Romana (“Romanian Post”), Romania’s market leader in postal and logistics services.
Romanian Post is currently undertaking a historic process of modernizing and optimizing its logistics infrastructure, investing over 80 million lei (approximately EUR 6 million) into the renovation and development of regional hubs, including upgrading them with state-of-the-art sorting equipment. During this period, and starting this spring, Romanian Post will lease over 5,000 square meters of logistics space at CTPark Bucharest to serve as its temporary Regional Courier and Logistics Hub Bucharest.
“After nearly 50 years, we have begun the renovation, modernization, and technologization [sic] of the Regional Courier and Logistics Hub Bucharest,” explained Valentin Stefan, General Director of Romanian Post. “Given the significant increase in parcel volume and demand for courier services, we chose to temporarily relocate our operations to a modern space developed to the latest standards. CTPark Bucharest was a natural choice due to its top-notch infrastructure, flexible available spaces, and quick access to the main arteries of the capital—essential factors for streamlining delivery times and expanding our distribution network.”
=“We are delighted to welcome Romanian Post to our CTPark Bucharest community and, through our quality infrastructure, to contribute to the enhancement of the logistics activities of a key player in postal and courier services,” said Nicoleta Gavrila, Senior Business Developer at CTP in Romania. “This collaboration reflects the growing confidence of Romanian companies in CTP’s standards.”
With a total area of 57.9 hectares and 570,000 square meters of built space, CTPark Bucharest — which is located on the A1 motorway at kilometer 13, a 15-minute drive from the Pacii and Preciziei metro stations — includes a canteen, medical point, and extensive green areas.
