Sphinx, a popular restaurant chain known for its Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine, has opened a 250-square-meter location in a newly constructed building within the BIG Lubin retail park.
The glass-walled building, featuring a 200-square-meter terrace with seasonal gardens, was designed to expand BIG Lubin’s gastronomic offering.
Sphinx is the largest casual dining chain in Poland in both sales volume and number of location, as well as being the third-largest foodservice company in the country in terms of revenue. The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2006. According to BIG, “Sphinx is a restaurant for every occasion – lunch, dinner, a meeting, or a family meal. The chain is renowned for its Middle Eastern culinary inspirations, seasonal novelties, and a wide selection of dishes and sides. It’s also exceptionally family-friendly, where the youngest guests can enjoy a kids’ menu and plenty of attractions in the play area.”
“The Sphinx restaurant, known for its welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, is a perfect addition to BIG Lubin’s offer,” said Eran Levy, CEO BIG Poland. “It is the second restaurant of this chain in our retail centers. The first Sphinx location was opened in BIG Lubin. “We are pleased that our tenants trust us and choose to grow within our projects. As we continue to develop our retail parks across Poland, we consistently enhance them with well-established dining concepts. We aim to create spaces where shopping seamlessly blends with entertainment and culinary experiences. That’s why we decided to build a modern, glass-walled building that perfectly aligns with dining and recreational functions. Its standout feature is a spacious, 200-square-meter terrace with seasonal gardens. This will undoubtedly become a vibrant place, offering a wide range of flavors and a rich culinary experience.”
BIG Lubin is a retail park near the Lubin Zoo that was acquired by BIG Poland in 2023, and BIG immediately expanded the parking infrastructure to ensure convenient access and more free parking spaces for customers. As a result, 75 additional spaces were added, bringing the total to 430 free parking spots.
