Developer Real Management S.A. has announced that two buildings completed as part of the first phase of the Good Point V warehouse and production park in Lubna, outside Warsaw, have received the final BREEAM International New Construction V6 certificate at the Excellent level.
Good Point V will ultimately host buildings with a total area of 30,000 square meters. Two buildings, completed as part of the first phase of the project, have been commissioned for use, with Polish cosmetics manufacturer Dr Irena Eris S.A. moved into Hall no. 1 at the end of July, 2024, and Sales Service Sp. z o.o. taking space in Hall no. 4 in early August.
The entire complex is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025, at which point OEX Fulfilio Sp. z o.o., a company specializing in delivering logistics services for the e-commerce sector as well as loyalty programs and POS materials, will move in.
According to Real Management, “the Good Point V complex was designed in accordance with the ESG principles, and meets the highest quality and safety standards. Owing to the implementation of innovative solutions, Halls no. 1 and 4 have received BREEAM environmental certification at the Excellent level; the investment scored 75.3% for the Post Construction Assessment stage. The evaluation was based on the environmental friendliness of the buildings and the level of comfort provided to their occupants. The BREEAM certification also confirms that Good Point V achieves lower utility costs and that its operation is associated with reduced environmental impact. Hence, this helps create a comfortable and healthy workplace.”
In addition, Real Management reported, “during certification, Good Point V scored particularly high in categories related to project and construction process management, energy efficiency, water and sewage management, waste management or emission reduction solutions.”
Bremer was the general contractor for the project, with JWA advising on the certification process.
“The BREEAM Excellent certificate for the first phase of the Good Point V complex is the best proof of our commitment to developing properties that comply with the highest standards of sustainable construction,” said Real Management Asset Manager Eliza Wielgus. “We are proud to be able to create facilities that not only meet the needs of rapidly growing businesses but are also environmentally and user-friendly. To guarantee the highest level of our activities, we have developed a Green Standard for warehouse buildings. This project follows the Green Standard and so will our next investments.”
