WING is announcing that it won multiple awards at the recent EuropaProperty CRE Real Estate Awards, which annually recognizes the best buildings, companies, real estate transactions, and industry professionals in the international markets of Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and the Balkan region.
At this year’s awards, WING won in the categories of “Office Project of the Year,” “Hotel Developer,” and “Office Developer of the Year.”
The EuropaProperty CRE Real Estate Awards ceremony was held this year for the sixth time at the InterContinental Hotel in Budapest.
In the “Office Project of the Year” category, WING won with its Liget Center project, which consists of two buildings: the Liget Center Classic and the Liget Center Auditorium, both of which are protected historical monuments and have been transformed into modern, sustainable corporate headquarters, while their architectural heritage has been preserved. RTL Hungary’s news directorate and the studios for its news and infotainment programs moved into the Liget Center Auditorium in the summer of 2024, while the office functions of the commercial media company was located in the adjacent Liget Center Classic building. The project also includes a new standalone boutique office building, the Liget Center Vitrum, which is expected to reach the shell & core completion by the end of October, completing the Liget Center project.
The “Hotel Developer” award recognized WING’s dynamic growth in hotel development. According to WING, “this division of the company has gained significant momentum in recent years, as evidenced by the success of the ibis & TRIBE Budapest Stadium hotel within the Liberty complex. Since its opening in December 2023, Hungary’s first TRIBE hotel has been continuously popular among visitors. In 2025, WING is preparing for another milestone: a new TRIBE hotel will be opened at Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport, further enriching the airport’s service infrastructure. With this development, WING joins the ranks of exceptional real estate developers that have delivered over 1,000 hotel rooms in Hungary. The company’s future growth is also secured by an agreement with IHG Hotels & Resorts, which will soon introduce two new international hotel brands to the capital, strengthening both Budapest’s hotel offerings and WING’s market position.”
Finally, the “Office Developer” award recognized WING’s overall activity in the office market, highlighted this year by the completion of the final phase of the mixed-use Liberty complex in late summer and the milestones of the Liget Center project. According to WING, the company “is known for its professionalism, reliable partnerships, and for delivering value-driven projects that shape the cityscape of Budapest. As one of Hungary’s leading real estate developers, the company’s primary goal is to create world-class buildings that become iconic homes for iconic companies. Among its many corporate headquarters references are the recently completed RTL Liget, as well as the headquarters of Lightware, MTV, Magyar Telekom, and Allianz.”
