Panattoni has begun construction work on a new Built To Own (BTO) center for the E.G.O.-Group, a global supplier for household manufacturers. The construction of the manufacturing plant started in July of this year and is expected to conclude by the end of 2025.
E.G.O. produces components for stoves, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and many other household appliances and commercial machines. The Polish company has been operating since 2005 and it has a large household-appliance-components factory in Lodz. That complex is to be extended with a production plant on Mahoniowa Street in the city.
“We offered E.G.O. a property in a superb location near to its current operations base as well as its key business partners,” explained Panattoni Development Director Katarzyna Kujawiak. “At the same time this is also a location with excellent options for commuting to work. The building will be tailored to E.G.O.’s manufacturing processes and our teams are working closely together to develop the new plant to allow the company to grow quickly in Lodz. The site also has the space for a possible future expansion.”
The location is approximately 8 kilometers from the Lodz city center.
