On September 21, 2021, Panattoni announced that it was completing a 60,800 square meter BTS logistics center in Bierun for retail chain Action, with an estimated delivery date for September this year.
Action is growing its 130 store presence across Poland, and the facility will mainly be used to store the retailer’s various product lines, including interior decoration, office items, home, and interior furnishings as well as hobbyist, fashion, and sports goods.
According to the developer, priority is placed on sustainable buildings that benefit from BREEAM certifications, with plans to include photovoltaic panels, solar collectors for heating the water, and charging stations for electric cars.
