The British brand Mountain Warehouse, which specializes in selling high-quality sportswear, footwear, and outdoor accessories, has become a tenant of BIG Ostroda – the largest retail park in the Warmia-Masuria region of Poland.
Mountain Warehouse’s new store at the BIG Ostroda retail park, which covers nearly 1,000 square meters, is its first in Ostroda. The store celebrated its opening on Saturday, September 28, by offering customers a 20% discount on everything, including sportswear collections, climbing and camping gear, and clothing and accessories for everyday use.
“We are delighted to welcome Mountain Warehouse among the tenants of BIG Ostroda,” said BIG Poland CEO Eran Levy. “The brand’s high-quality offer perfectly meets the needs of outdoor activity enthusiasts, and there is no shortage of them in the picturesque and tourist-friendly Warmia-Masuria region. The spacious and comfortably designed store, covering nearly 1,000 square meters, guarantees broad availability of the latest products. This is the first Mountain Warehouse store in Ostroda, and we are very pleased that BIG Ostroda can partner in the brand’s debut in the local market. The nearest store of this brand operates in Olsztyn, more than 40 km away.”
BIG Ostroda claims a total area of 25,000 square meters of gross leasing area, making it the largest retail park in the Warmia-Masuria region of Poland. The complex includes a standalone 9000-square-meter Castorama store with drive-thru service, as well as a Biedronka supermarket and 23 other stores, including Half-Price, Jysk, New Yorker, Smyk, CCC, Sinsay, Cropp, House, Media Expert, Martes Sport, 4F, Komfort, Diverse, Rossmann, and Douglas. BIG Ostróda also offers over 700 free parking spaces. The complex is located on the main road leading to the city center, directly at the junction of expressways S7, connecting Warsaw and Gdańsk, and S16, leading to Olsztyn and Grudziądz.
Mountain Warehouse represents the second new tenant at BIG Ostroda in recent weeks, following JYSK’s arrival in the retail park in September (as reported by CEE Real Estate Matters on September 19, 2024).
