On January 17, 2022, European Logistics Investment (ELI) announced that it had sold park ELI Tychy, a 61,000 square meters warehouse project located in one of the main logistics areas in Silesia, Poland.
According to the company, park ELI Tychy has been completed in September 2021 and offers 58,000 square meters of warehouse space and 2,500 square meters of integral office area. The project was acquired by Reico Is Cs, a leading Czech investment company operating in the Central Europe region, for EUR 59.6 million.
“Upper Silesia is an established warehouse hub and the second-largest logistics market in Poland backed by access to a highly qualified workforce and a strong growth driven by e-commerce,” said Griffin Capital Partners responsible for ELI platform development Senior Vice President Investments Hubert Rossa. “A BREEAM-certified, modern logistics project in the heart of this region, secured with a long-term lease agreement to a recognized retailer, with great connectivity within the Silesia and the CEE regions is undoubtedly a great and safe investment. Therefore, we are not surprised with interest from foreign investors.”
